Classes

A variety to suit your needs

At Body Torque we offer a plenty of classes run by our qualified and motivating trainers. All classes are suitable for both women and men of any fitness level beginners through to advance with classes also available for children. No need to pre-book or bring a partner. We structure our classes to cater for all levels, with no prior experience needed to participate.

Group Fitness 

A 60 min cardio and strength conditioning class that includes bodyweight training, exercises with dumbbells, kettlebells, rowing machines, spin bikes, suspension straps, battle ropes, military-style drills and exercises . The Instructor will stress correct movement technique and will show modifications for all levels. Each Session will have a Target Body Part/s and will change every day.

HIIT / Metafit

A 30 min cardio and strength conditioning class that combines bodyweight exercises, dumbbells, kettlebells, rowing machines, spin bikes, suspension straps, battle ropes with the latest interval and Tabata techniques. Guaranteed to set the metabolism on fire. The Instructor will stress correct movement technique and will show modifications for all levels.

Cardio-Kickboxing

 A 60 min aerobic/anaerobic experience, utilizing kickboxing and boxing techniques to increase muscular strength/endurance, cardiovascular conditioning, coordination, and balance. No prior martial arts experience necessary. The Trainer will stress correct movement technique and will show modifications for all levels.

Beginners Boxing

A 60 min Boxing class that is spilt into two parts. 30 mins of Boxing technique training followed by 30 mins of Cardio / Strength conditioning designed to compliment your new boxing skills.  The Instructor will stress correct movement technique and will show modifications for all levels. Will need your own gloves (exception for first few classes, we will loan them in trial periods)

BT Boxing

A combination of Boxing and Kickboxing and Fitness Drills – intermediate to advanced class

Kids Circuit

A 45 min cardio and strength conditioning class designed for your kids. The focus in improving fitness, flexibility whilst developing strength and muscular endurance. The Instructor will stress correct movement technique and will show modifications for all levels.

Kids Combat

A 45 min class designed for your kids to learn basic boxing and kickboxing techniques and footwork drills. The focus in improving fitness, flexibility whilst developing strength and muscular endurance. The Instructor will stress correct movement technique and will show modifications for all levels. Will need their own gloves (exception for first few classes, we will loan them in trial periods)

 

Child Minding Available 9.00am to 1.15pm, $5 per child (Discounts available for multiple children. Booking required in School Holidays) Bulk booking discount

Community Health Program

Our free boot camp

This exclusive Body Torque boot camp that is completely free for successful applicants. It’s a 6 week boot camp designed to help people who have a high BMI level in the overweight or obese range that need some help to get healthy, learn how to live a healthy lifestyle and lose the weight for life. Training includes combination of circuit training, boxing and kickboxing drills, resistance / weight training, cardio vascular training, nutritional advice and seminars and weekly weigh-ins. Applications are accepted via email only and must include your name, height and weight.

Duration: 6 Weeks, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6.45pm to 7.30pm plus your choice of 2 group fitness classes per week.

Cost: FREE

After leaving school, and learning to deal with “real life”, I found myself gaining weight.  I tried a lot of “in vogue” diets including a number of costly weight loss programs.  Any weight loss proved temporary and the subsequent gains made me heavier than ever.  I got married and when I saw my wedding photos, I knew that I had to do something.  I could not even look at all of them because of the way I felt about myself.  More fad diets and intermittent exercise followed to no avail.

Then, I found a Community Health program being run by BodyTorque.  I was very scared to join because of my low self esteem, but my desperation drove me to enlist.

It was the best thing I have ever done for myself.  The team at the gym taught me about sensible food choices rather than “dieting” and I absorbed an incredible amount of nutritional information.  This, coupled with a specially designed transitional exercise program with encouragement and emotional support from my trainers has delivered sensational results.  From 117kg & size 24, down to 70kg and have shrunk to a size 12 and became a Personal Trainer at Body Torque!

My zest for life is greater than I have ever known and my newfound ability and energy to interact physically with my children is wonderful.  I am now more driven to achieve my goals and my new friends from the first and subsequent gym programs are now an integral part of my life and that of my family.Thank you BodyTorque
